What's included and not included in the price of my bike?

Not included: Pedals

Bikes are sold without pedals. This is because most customers already have a clipless pedal/shoe system. So if you plan to ride the bike home, don't forget your pedals and shoes to suit!

We also sell as separate items used traditional (not clipless) pedals, including some at low prices. 

Not included: saddle

Most riders have strong preferences when it comes to their main point of contact with the bike. We can't match the range of saddles available from our recommended partner cycle retailers. However, we do have a limited number of used saddles for you to choose from at very economical prices. One of these might suffice to get you home if you didn't bring your own saddle. Or by good fortune you might even form a lasting friendship with one of our used saddles! 

Included: Bar tape. Fitting of bar tape is not included unless requested (at no extra charge)

As standard, our bikes come with bars not taped, but with a pack of new bar tape included in the price. This is so you can position brake levers to your own liking. If we taped the bars for you, you'd have to remove it all to adjust brake lever positions. 

If you'd like to ride away with bar tape fitted, we'll gladly fit it for you in your presence at no extra charge.
